I wish!

M has been begging me for a Wii. And I don’t really mind because I want one too. I mean you kinda think I would have one by now, huh?

I guess I’m too lazy to call around and find out when certain stores have them in stock. And then, even if some place did have it in stock, I doubt I’d get there in time to buy one.

I’m a bit hesitant about buying one on ebay or something. So, I’ve been checking this site wiitracker, several times a day, but so far they’re selling bundles for like $600!

Anyway, when M and I go to Target or Costco, we always stop in and ask if they have any Wiis… the answer is always no. She slumps her shoulders and I do too. Wah.

Oh, that super cute image above is something I came across on Etsy. It’s a gocco print by an artist named Argyle Whale.

She has sold out of these prints though, but has lots of cute stuff.

  2. We just got Smash Bros. Brawl and I didn’t think I’d get into it as much as I have. Haha! But if I nail that trick punch/kick/uppercut/bomb, it’s sheer luck.

    Do you still have PSP? Have you seen/heard of “Patapon”? It’s pretty fun and great for kids (or grownups!) to get into rhythms, concentration, and memory skills. I’d recommend it for M… if you don’t already have it. ;)

    Lex, so funny u should mention the psp, i have been thinking about getting that patapon bc it looked kinda like locoroco. anyway, my last game purchase was Parapa the Rappa. :P I played that on the old skool playstation and thought this would be some sort of revised psp version, but dude, it was exactly the same!! those darn songs were stuck in my head forever.

  5. Would it piss you off if I told you my Wii was collecting a lot of dust under the TV? :) As for Patapon, definately get it.. In fact, download the demo first and play that (the stuff you earn in the demo transfers to the full game). Also you might want to hunt around for the echochrome demo, really neato “Escher-like” puzzle game.

  6. Yeah, I’ve been neglecting my PSP for a long while now, since I finished Lego Star Wars and Loco Roco. But the demo version of Patapon became just addictive enough by the last level of the trial. Boo! I’m now on the fence about getting it. If you get it, I’ll get it. ;)

    Ooo, yeah… and Echochrome. :)

    Lexy, I’ve been into the DS lately. The last game I finished was Professor Layton and the Curious Village. That was a seriously fun game if you enjoy puzzles.

    Okay, I’ll let you know when I get Patapon. :P

  8. Ah, yes, I’ve been BrainAge-ing on my DS every day for the last couple of weeks. Although my sudoku and piano skills are pretty good and consistent, the math part is still lagging behind. (eg. “What day is the day after two weeks from tomorrow?”) Sheesh. I’ve also been playing a lot of Zoo Tycoon, but I think it’s bugged, as the zoo keeper and some of my guests don’t walk around enough. It really upsets the hippo.

    ... and no, I haven’t played “Animal Crossing” yet, but I’ve heard of few friends that have been playing that as their fallback no matter what other newer games they have. Interesting. I may have to check that out. ;)
