i just want to see the Joy happy

Front row at the Forum

Yah, I like to think that’s what Moz is really singing in that song!

So, I ended up listening to Ringleader Of The Tormentors today and started thinking of all the things I could sell to get Moz tickets.

Agh, is anyone going to the Pasadena shows?

Does anyone have an extra ticket that they would sell to me at a reasonable price?

And as Bardot mentioned, will there really be shows in SF too?!

I’ve seen Morrissey several times from front row at the Forum in LA to general admission at the Santa Monica Civic Center and after every show I’ve been all “Oh my god! I love Morrissey! (cry)”,

...well except for the one time in like 91 or something when he played UCLA’s Pauly Pavilion and ended the show after about fifteen minutes.

That sucked.

No refund.

I slept over for those tickets too.

Anyway, on eBay, I actually saw tickets going for $1200!

Sigh.

In unrelated food news, I’ve made myself two burritos this week.

Both awesome.

Burrito one: chili which I made poured over a veggie dog, covered in cheddar and sour cream and Trader Joe’s “Mexican Sauce” all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. Diet Coke.

Burrito two: refried beans, crispy tater tots, cheddar, sour cream, guacamole, and more of the Mexican Sauce in a flour tortilla. Enjoyed with cheap Bear’s Lair wine from TJs. Yum.

I will have to make Burrito #2 again just so I can photograph it’s cross-section-y goodness for y’all because you need to see it.

I totally forgot I gave my little Sony to my dad who took it to Japan over Christmas at my brother’s and then Bee borrowed my Rebel while visiting his Grandmother for a couple days.

Of course, that left me without any camera for two days which I thought I could handle, but well, I suffered some mild to moderate anxiety and came across a great photo op like every freakin’ minute, or so it seemed. . .

Like the old resident segueway senior citizen man who zips around the sidewalks with his oxygen tank, who had on a bluetooth headset, and Shuffle connected to one ear and was all wrapped up in a mismatch of cold weather wear and well… shorts and those cataract pupil dilated sunglasses affixed to his face.

Sigh.

  3. Y’know, this was a great entry for one specific reason. Cheap “Bear’s Lair” wine from TJ’s. Just the fact that something this genius exists, is, dare I say, GENIUS.

Joy, what in the world does Bear’s Lair wine taste like? After you drink it, do you hibernate for the Winter? Start stealing picnic baskets? Maul some Park Rangers?

These are the things I need to know!
